About. Works. News

Sun Lee is a Korean textile artist and social designer based in Amsterdam, fascinated by the historical, political and cultural impact of traditional craft in our modern society. Her experience as a fashion designer running her own brand in Korea gave her a sense of responsibility and a critical view on mass production as part of the consumer society. To investigate the impact of industrialization on traditional crafts and labor issues within the industry, she came to a decision to enroll in social design (MA) studies and take a degree at the Design Academy Eindhoven.
