“Hanji Tower” is an embodiment of the delicate yet durable nature of Hanji
paper, crafted into three intricately detailed stone-like sculptures. The
3-dimensional artworks invite viewers to contemplate our relationship with Nature, specifically the ancient tradition of stacking rocks as a symbi-
otic wishing ritual between Human and Nature.
“Hanji Tower” offers a critical reflection on the current social trend of rock
stacking challenging us to slow down and consider how our past practices
have impacted our present interactions with the environment.
